As it is now: Unplayable.

I have the Impulse 1.0 version

Problems:
The frame rate is horrible for a game with such average graphics

For some strange and unusual reason, any objects touched by zombies can never be picked up by a human ever again. This includes baseball bats, guns, and axes from my experience.

Aiming with guns is so poorly instituted that i might as well throw the gun at the incoming hoards instead of pulling the trigger.

My six-shooter insists that it must go through it's reloading animation twice before firing.

the animation for the main character is so flawed it is almost funny. If you try and reload while "Looking around", it looks like a dance move rejected by Michael Jackson. I have seen better running animations in NES games as well.

The main character looks like the kind of person i would throw into the hoards of unliving as a distraction. lack of any sort of choice or character customization is rather annoying.

As i can't manage to get to the fort before my game lags to the point of insanity, i really can't start the game.

The update has not come to impulse.. and for some sick reason, i doubt it ever will :P

Grow up enough to read the manual and figure out that items are not picked up as if it were an FPS. Frame rate problems on some machines are being investigated. As for the rest...gfy pleb baby...gfy

Pleb... how many times does this have to be said to you?? gamersgate for the WIN (when it comes to kerberos products). Never, ever, EVER buy a kerberos product from any other download source, and you will always have the best support for the product! :D

Gamersgate now insists you use an outside service for credit card transactions which has repeatedly refused to work with me IF you don't use paypal.

trust me, i tried ;P

Update: after forking another 10 bucks for the gamersgate version (this is the second game of kerberos' that i have gotten twice :P)

The game is more playable. I have read the manual thoroughly and am not sure why my dunce of an avatar has not eaten any of the food he just got from his mission..

FPS is still an issue but much better then the impulse version (don't ever zoom in unless indoors)

targeting is still difficult, and i find my character reloading his weapon twice before being able to fire.

Heya

Food needs to be placed in the Fort Inventory rather than left in the Character Inventory.

The double reload is a known issue.

I have double reloaded on occasion (not common)... Pretty sure I held down the button a while or accidentally tapped it while the first reload was in progress. I saw the double reload a LOT more in 1.0.0.0

I noticed the game is a little over-sensitive sometimes - like the barreta ALWAYS fires twice for me, even if I am quick on the click-release.

The Baretta is set to be automatic, which makes it fire twice and continue firing if you hold the button down.

Setting the assault weapons to automatic makes them fire off two sets of 3 :)

At the start of a level, have you tried pausing the game (press P), zooming all the way in, and spinning the camera a few times around your character until the lag goes away?? This trick usually reduces all lag in a level for me!

I double reload all the time. I think it might be caused by jumping while reloading.

I double reload somewhat frequently with the combat shotgun, usually not other weapons... although i cant link it to jumping or any other stimuli

I've never really had a problem with double reloading. I think I've seen it happen once or twice, but it's quite rare and I have no idea what causes it.

all I can think is that its accepting another reload command right at the start and cueing them up

^ yeah, wouldn't surprise me... if you use a melee weapon (specifically the katana in my situation), clicking twice in rapid succession will cause 2 melee striking animations.
