the real issue is would you support in a kickstarter and spread the word ;)

As for 64 bit, well it would be a whole new engine so...yes!
A new SotS would definitely be an all-in project for me.
Yes but apparently it needs 10,000 of us to be All-in. I don't think they are that many on these boards. I may be wrong however.

So Kerberos is raising money through its other projects. The latest, The Pit:Infinity is really good but its getting limited exposure. I don't know if Kerberos have a final marketing push for when it goes live. I hope so.

Well... If 1,000 of us buy 10 copies each, you got 10,000 copies sold. :D

Maybe there's already 9990 more of us quietly lurking on the board waiting for the HD edition?

I bought each expansion when they were new, then re-bought on steam, so I'm definitely down for a Kickstarter.

How about some mini-ships?

More mini than this, though:

Maybe some cross-over with The Pit?

True, but this is media-class number. Devoted fans can only carry you this far. I always spread the word of Kerberos' projects over all strategy forums I was ever a member of, also articles at StrategyCore are a must for a Kerberos strategy title. Still, all this combined is a spit in the sea compared to numbers big game news sites can reach.

As fans we can probably do most by saying a lot of good about SotS under articles there. But first those articles need to exist.
ErinysSolForce Intelligence has great difficulty penetrating Liir society to that depth, for obvious reasons. fibioLack of scuba gear?

Well let me preface this by saying that I don't know anything about game development or marketing.

The Pit:Infinity is a good game. It always had potential but I think they have it in a really good place right now. Its just that I don't think a lot of people know or remember from when it was first launched. I just don't see the game anywhere else but its Steam page. I mean correct me if I'm wrong on this and haven't been looking in the right places.

Awesome! Good to know you're going to blitz it on release!

The marketing for Fallout 76 is mired in so much expectations and failed promises and riding on the back of what came before. I can't find a solid number.

Yeah sorry. I'm not a huge Twitch fan when it comes to streamers. I have no real interest in watching someone play a game that I'm going to get or already have. Call me old fashioned and not up with the times.

The most I'll look at is video from a developer for upcoming content and that's for like 5 - 10 minutes.

I just don't get it otherwise.

Yes well despite the fact that you don't get it, that has failed to stop twitchers and other forms of "influencers" from earning hundreds of thousands of dollars from advertisers looking to have them endorse their products. I am sure the F/76 budget for this exceeded the entire budget for PI

I get that they make a lot of money. And about the only streamer I'm marginally aware of is Pew Die Pie because he also has a side gig being a racist asshole.

What I mean is that I don't have a feel for what an "average" or "above average" streamer is making. Sure I can guess its in the hundreds of thousands but I really don't know how much specifically.

Maybe. I'm unsure why you're comparing your game to Fallout 76 which has a ludicrous budget and a big name studio/publisher like Bethesda behind it.
