Thats not to good form me. I need to use this mobile internet stick to be online and I've only got 1 GB to play with per month. Any chance I can order online and get it shipped to me? If not I'll just call in a favour and take the 'ol laptop to a friends house and do the download there.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Is there still a way to get a hold of The Deacon's Tale? If you buy the game through an online service, will the book be included in the dl:ed files? I know it used to be available on the lighthouse online store, but that store is no longer in operation...
Re: Where to buy the game(s)
was worried about getting the ANY expansion via download instead of buying a boxed version as normal but everything went without a hitch.
Gamersgate was easy to use and didn`t see any overkill drm as you get on Steam, just a no frill, no hassle install.

Which is why Gamersgate = Win! (no offense to you steam users... just don't knock it 'til you try it!!)
G/L!
Heya
The Book is still available with the Collector's Edition ( original SotS + BoB ).
I know New Zealand still has several available...
The price hasn't really dropped on it though there has been the occasional sale...
Arinn is working on another publishing & distribution channel.

I have a boxed copy of Ultimate collection, and want Argos Naval Yard to go with it. Can I mix a digital download of ANY with a disk copy of the game?
Re: Where to buy the game(s)
The only version of ANY that does not play well with others is the Steam version.
I would suggest Gamersgate for your provider as I used them myself with no problem.

Download my zombie outbreak mini-sim: unfortunately, it's not Fort Zombie.

Heya
Impulse ( StarDock ) have also stated that their version of ANY does not play well with others.
Currently the only DD channel that consistently works well on anything else is GamersGate.
Though it may make Steam unhappy that something else updated "its" files...

Re: Where to buy the game(s)
So... quick question... I haven't been on in a long time, but...
I'm looking to get the expansions cause I haven't been able to do that yet.... Does murder of crows come in the ultimate edition? How can I get the lot? Does D2D have them?
I started playing SOTS again, and I remembered just how good it was...

Re: Where to buy the game(s)
Ultimate Collection is Sword + Born of Blood + A Murder of Crows. If you want ANY as well you'll have to get it separately after that.
Personally I wouldn't recommend D2D, as they do a lot of unfriendly things to the software they sell that can interfere with modding - the game exe is encrypted, as are all of the datafiles.
With other forms of installation, the datafiles (.gob files) are actually renamed zip files and are easy to copy data from if you eventually become interested in modding.
I ended up picking everything up through GamersGate myself on recommendation from a friend. Two days later I persuaded my younger brother to buy a copy as well, and we've been playing MP over the net on-and-off ever since.

Re: Where to buy the game(s)
Thanks a bunch.
Perhaps now I will be able to get the expansions. Then I will know about the game again... and may then return! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
But seriously... I really love this game... So thanks for telling me how to get the extra goodies.

Impulse currently has the Ultimate Edition (all but ANY) for a mere 7.50 USD
