Interestingly, I found a source of boxed copies of vanilla SotS.

A "Half-Price Books" near my home had several copies for around $7 each.
Would be pretty temping if I didn't already own multiple keys for the whole set. :)

So, what avenue of getting the latest collection will result in the most $$ getting back to Kerberos?

:D Just got a notification email from Gamers Gate... 16 August 2010.

The price for Sword of the Stars Complete Collection was just reduced on GamersGate!

Visit "www.gamersgate.com/DD-SOTSCC/sword-of-the-stars-complete-collection" to get it for $20.96 US.

I don't know how long this price will be in effect.

I've been out of the SotS community for quite a while due to uni, but want to get back into it a bit over break. Just to make sure I have everything straight: The only boxed version of SotS that has nifty extras in it is the collectors edition with the original and BoB (which I have). The complete and ultimate are just cases with a DVD. The best way to buy if you want money to go to Kerberos is to pick up the complete collection on Gamers Gate.

Is that all right?

Yes, all that looks right.

But I will also add the if you want the Complete Collection on DVD and you can't find it locally, then you can buy it directly from Paradox through their Online Store.
