ammunition...yeah...I like that

Seriously though, all great suggestions but a small team can only get so many things done and do marketing. Your post also shows that no matter what you get done, in this case a really great opening summary pitch movie that makes the game play and look very clear, there will always be more things wanted.

I can very much appreciate that manpower is a limiting factor for you guys.

Hey folks!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ke ... ts/2114288

Slightly sad news but in no ways defeat. As mentioned we are going to retool for a short period of time. Take all the feedback we were given. Get a few reviews done and ready to post and then we are coming back swinging! Thanks for all the support and we will give you the heads up when we have the new preview page up!

Excelsior!!!

Sad to hear but not a surprise. I'll be there when you launch the retooled version!

Sorry to hear about the cancellation of the KickStarter campaign. Better luck next time! For Europe, I think the biggest event is in Essen, Germany. Maybe you should participate there?

A lot of these road signs go missing every year as the tourists collect their trophies. It makes me wonder if this road sign is indeed the most wanted souvenir of Norway...

I know some people that tried to promote some English-language, crowdfunded board games, here (France, Montpellier : you might have heard of it as home to Ubisoft's Rayman team).

I'll see if I can get in touch with them... but I can't promise anything - especially since my free time is in awfully short supply these days. :(

actually we are thinking about putting together a regional network of old timer fans who would have the time and inclination to officially represent and play our games at mid sized cons we just can't get to.

For anyone near Ottawa, I am planning to run a couple sessions of The Pit: The Boardgame at CanGames (http://www.cangames.ca) over the Victoria Day long weekend. Registration for the convention is open now, but you won't see The Pit in the list of scheduled games yet. I plan to register the game this coming week and it takes a bit for the schedule to get updated. I'll post again once I've registered the game to be run and/or when it is in the printed schedule.

One can purchase reserve spots in specific games in advance for a couple bucks. If you want to register early, before the schedule gets updated to include The Pit, I believe you can update your registration afterward. Alternatively, you can purchase a reserved spot on the day of the con, or just see if there is still room available when the game is about to be run.

If you're from the boards and make it to the con, don't be a stranger! :)
