A lot of suggestions are coming in - a lot of those we've endeavoured to get into the patch. And some can't make it into the patch. BUT! We have seen them;

Before you post your suggestion, please have a read here and see if it's already come up and where the matter stands.

I better point out that we have been discussing recently, whether or not to add experience points to ships or whether or not to assign a flagship, can't remember where that went to but that was interesting.

Also there was the issue on ground combat I can't remember for sure but I think that was thrown out the window for now.

There was the suggestion which was dear to my heart the expansion of the combat rounds to take place in solar systems instead.

Another one of mine has been the supplies, that is still been discussed with the viewpoint that it is done but as u don't run it it is therefore unseen.

We have had discussions about introducing a new kind of random which are traders.

Since the wiki is down, I'll list the things I plan to add to the list here.

Orbiting habitats/construction yards.

auto-mining

refitting ships keeps coming up, isnt that in the list?

ground combat.

ship combat psi.

He means, those are suggestions that are frequently made, and thus it commonly needs to be explained why they are not likely to appear in SotS, not that he necessarily supports them.

SotS 2 might see a couple of them, though.

I still dont see a good reason not to increase DE (and CR and DN) ship sizes.

But if you promise that SotS 2 will have bigger ships (and more ship classes, perhaps an SD, SuperDreadnought) I will stop complaining :D

Because they bloody well damn decided not to? Seriously, it IS that simple.

And it already HAS been strongly hinted at (IIRC) that ship sizes will be larger in any theoretical SoTS II.

I know that having ship debris stay longer on sceen was basically shot down due to slowing the game down.

What about using low resolution debris sorta like the asteroids. There are lots of those around and they don't slow down the game that much.

Just a thought, it would be pretty cool! Like in the opening cinematic of BOB!

How much more work would be needed to demarcate the suggestions which have already been implemented?
