Ladies and Gents,

Greetings, I've been playing SOTS for not too long. I actually discoverd it by accident last year and been playing since. I've spotted this whole modrace thing on the wiki and decided to look if I could give a hand.

I'm interested in taking the whole sound part upon me, this includes 'voices' music and the likes. Besides that I'm always interested in creating stories, background etc. I'm also willing to try and design a few logo's and the likes.

Anyhow, let me know if you guys have a job for me and I'll see what I can do.

Sounds like a plan, I'll need a multitude of voices but I'm going to expiriment with my own at first.

Well yes! I'm trying to figure out what is best though. As well as making sure it does not stand out next to the other music.
As said above I'll want to make voices, of which I will need a list. I've checked the Sots dir, but couldn't find anything really fast. Any sugestions to find all sounds?
Besides voices the drive might also have it's own unique sound in tactical.
And as a last part, I believe every race has it's own way of adressing another race when a xenotech is discovered. It would be very cool to have the other races discribe the silicons aswell.

So a short to-do list for me right now then:
-Tactical theme
-Voices (all of them)
-Race distinct sounds
-Trying to mimic the other races voice acting to cover the xenotech part*

I think this should also be the order for me to work in, I'll keep you guys posted. Now my first objective: getting the theme done. Somehow the whole silicon idea made me think of hang-drums...

Since this mod is officially supported by kerberos, you might wanna PM Mecron and see if he will agree to cover this! :)

I think it safer to proceed as if Mec is not available and that sound-alikes or close-enoughs will have to be used - Kerberos has a very full plate right now and I need everyone focused on that stuff first.
