And that bot down below seems rather intent on greeting and thanking people.

The Paradox community manager took care of it, which was nice of her to do on a holiday.

ummm.. where did this "Chris Holt" get his info..? he's got some things wrong/mistaken...
...Developed by Kerberos, Sword of the Stars II features several new elements over the original. The most notable change is the altered technology tree. You'll still be able to pick your fleet, customize your ships, survey and colonize planets, and set up research, but now, while performing research, the tech tree will have randomized branches. ...
Bwah? change? Uh it always did?...
...Unlike the previous Sword of the Stars, all six races will be available to the player at the start. ...
*facepalm*
Hopes: The space strategy genre hasn't had a good title since Sins of a Solar Empire, so here's hoping that the level of customization and scale in SOTS II breathes new life in the neglected genre.
Fears: Terrible name aside, without a single-player campaign, not only will the narrative get lost, but the learning curve.

Which came out first Sins or SotS? No. You know what? It doesn't matter. Either way he still made it sound as if SotS1 was NOT a "good title".
