Twas the night before Zuulmas, and all through the cluster
The races engaged in their usual bluster
The Tarka called everyone upstarts and pests
The Hivers all swarmed to defend their deep nests
The Liir stuttered about and left messages cryptic
The Morrigi hid both below (and above!) the ecliptic
The Humans they lay all smug in their beds
(While visions of sige drivers ran through their heads)

But deep in the void
Was the gathering storm
For a weasel alliance
Had started to form…

Well, I'm pretty happy Kerberos will tackle on a new universe. I like the Sotsverse as anybody else of course but a new, more adventurous background sounds exciting too.
Now that SotS2 is on the hopefully quieter path of expansions, I'll now wait for some news about the "unannounced project" Mecron mentioned some time ago :)

Out of curiosity, is this going to be that sort of game where I can utilize my HOTAS joystick to it's full potential? I really need something to justify the fact that I have that darned stick.
Upon a gate of light barrier, faces that have been forced into metal
The infinite calmness in their eyes
The bronze expressions, never changing, unfamiliar
All the horror that always and only continues

But it's a dream, only a dream
Everything a dream faraway here
On the other side of any comfort
Banished from the beaches of beauty

As the elders of council decided to force me into an experiment
I took the assignment and disappeared on the deck of their most beautiful ship

Oh well, need to find something else to justify the set then.

On a side note, I am happy to hear that.

Problem with those games is that they are not developed by Kerberos.

Okay, I'mma check those out. Obviously Star Citizen is familiar and have also played Strike Suit Zero. SSZ was pleasant in terms of gameplay, but lacked a lot of depth for my personal flavor.

How come you didn't mention X3? I find that game excellent for the X52 Pro. But in the end, sorta didn't like that game after all... even though that's why I bought the X52 in the first place.

Truth be told, none of those names except SSZ are yet even in alpha. I'm out of luck.

Aha, I see. I was rather surprised by the fact that they didn't seem to please me really at all. They were interesting games, but they just didn't have that constant hook that kept me pulled in. You know, sort of like that "what am I going to find out this time" in The Pit, for example.

We may when we feel we have the support and manpower. The Pit is part of a progression. In general we are not comfy when people ask for a million for an Indy project before they prove they can deliver games within that system.
