This is probly my old UT map making days talking but a pitch black screen with 1 light revealing 1 sign isn't "good atmosphere" in my book. :?

Brightning the pic doesn't help becuase of a general lack of lights.

On the other hand, in a zombie apocalypse not many people around to turn on the lights..
Still, soft dim lights to cast barely perceptible shadows and contrast is better in terms of atmosphere I think.. like this pic.

I think some people are able to see the rest of the room, erdrik. In particular its blood splashes.

Nonetheless, Light and Darkness are issues that go beyond the normal cycles of the day in this game, so--be prepared to battle Darkness.

This is probably from my good ol pre counterstrike days talking but I think some modders letting their lil ego stuff leap in the way of realizing the context of a screenshot isn't "common sense" in my book. :?

Looking at the pics, I haven't seen much in the way of varied terrain height.
Will there be?

big hills and valleys not usually a factor in a midwest small town. You want to vary your height? Climb some stairs.

Bah, everyone knows the prairies are uncomfortably hilly, or at least that's what my friends from Holland tell me anyway
Buy my book - Six Seconds of Moonlight on the kindle store.

Anyone can be a god beneath the moonlight, but who can be a hero?

Trust me spent 3 hours on a drive through the area. All you see is flat, cows, and fields with the occasional tree. Not the most exciting road trip I've taken... :?
A bullet may have your name on it, but shrapnel is addressed "to whom it may concern".
