I just played some multiplayer. but my friend had repeating crashes during combat. so we stopped. i did not have any crash or disconnect.

he said something about texture missing. and it always happened when i killed a section of his ships. he will reinstall the game overnight to check if it solves it.

Hey just signed up to the forums but i pre-ordered SOTS2 and am an avid fan of the first game. I know that MP is still sort of broken but i love to play human players over AI.

Im just wondering when the most active times for online games are in Europe. If anyone wants to have a game at some point (i can be pretty busy at times due to university) they can hit me up on Steam. Im Generalmash (but i will show up under the nick Hydrofoil)

mp is not broken at all...Gamespy is having troubles though so direct connect is a more reliable way to go. Welcome to the boards!

the open euro zone is realy quiet today ... even before the gamespy issues (just wondering how long this will remain, the new gamespy owner could have bought a new server in the timeframe of this downtime)
