Your post is meant to be funny right? Cause you can't possibly be questioning the complicated nature of a 75 year old mythology involving hundred of creators and near continuous story telling over that entire time period...can you?

It would seem that Warren Ellis has a new comic coming out at the end of the month.

Which is exactly the point.
The underlined isn't doing those comics any favors...

That's not an airplane, that's a bird!

Sorry. I'll just see myself out, then...
You don't want facts, you don't want dissenting opinions, you want sheep who will blindly follow your lead. You want people to respond with "this can't be said enough!" and "you couldn't be more right." and "THIS!" You don't give a shit about opinions that aren't exactly the same as your own. You even blame the moderates for being part of the problem. If they aren't loudly and actively supporting your ideals, you tell them they're the enemy. "If you're not with us, you're against us!" You shout down reasonable debate, denigrate your opposition and deliberately twist language into a dishonest version of itself that dilutes the very issues you claim to represent and makes honest discourse impossible. You are not fighting for freedom. You are the oppressor. You are not struggling against iniquity. You are concerned only with enhancing the status, position and power of yourself and others like you at the expense of anyone who won't follow your lead.

I have enjoyed Scott Snyder's run on Batman lately ie Court of Owls and now Death of the Family which just finished its run. Loved his take on Joker... seriously his face is falling off or upside down or covered in magots... Crazy.

Also sad news Geoff Johns will end his run on Green Lantern this year. Someones got big shoes to fill.

Anyone reading any good non-SH stuff? I picked up the Shutter Island graphic novel purely for Christian De Metter's watercolor work (and I'm starting to get really interested in the French comic culture).

Small media frenzy over Chris Sprouse walking away from the art chores for Orson Scott Card's Superman story.

Nemo: Heart of Ice is out and I've given it a quick read. As usual, the fiction universe of The League of Extra-ordinary Gentlemen is filled with characters half-forgotten from pop culture. It's more fun if you know who some of these characters are, but following the story doesn't require said knowledge. As I was expecting, there is a bit of "Te-Ke-Li-Li" going on and some references to things that aren't penguins.
