Makes a lot more sense now.
So he's psionically leeching off the fabric of creation to preserve his own mind and state of being, making conventional 'housing' for those parts of his being unrequired.

No wonder his goal is to be the last living thing alive. If one can burrow into creation itself, what's to stop him from at some point learning to sever other essenses from the fabric? He could in time potentially rob all other races of Psionics then, or master control of the extremest forms of Psionics, giving him nearly boundless power? Or even kill with a thought, even later.

That guy has got to die, man does he *have* to just... die!

Isn't he already capable of the "kill with a thought" thing?

Aside from that... is there a possibility he might sooner(possibly before "now") or later have to deal with some sort of immune system?

I think the Universe's macrophage is called The Black.
Every time you use 'fluff' for lore a Kerberos developer dies. And they are already an endangered species.

You mean call out the specters, I presume. He might have done the vitalist universe equivelent of covering himself in 'self' antigens to hide from the specters and allies. Or other methods to avoid their detection.

Great, now I've got the mental image of the Eldest making like tuberculosis bacterium and hiding inside a specter to avoid attacks by specters :googly:.

I still think he needs The Black Facts, his memetic badassery demands it!

Psionics are always space magic, in any setting. A bit late to be complaining about it at this point, at least from the stance of 'hard scifi'. All that can be asked for is internal consistency with the rules of the setting.

Are you posting to the wrong thread? Don't see an antecedent to this remark.

I just saw some new concept art for all the Greatfathers in the 'pedia.

The Lich King is more terrible than I had imagined. Well done, Erinys.

The Seven Greatfathers and their concept art were designed by John Yakimow, actually. I invented the Suul'ka, and he thought they each needed to have a little sidekick. :D

Very good concept art for a very good idea! After all, the Suul'ka would have to commune with at least one zuul to give orders, might as well be one who wholly accepted what that Suul'ka stands for =)

If I may, how did the Eldest/Immortal ever contract the Xombie plague? In fact, where does the Xombie Plague come from? From what you've dropped here, it sounds like it needs its own lore thread.

No one ever finds out exactly how or why the zombie plague was made.
It's part of the genre. If the Xombie plague is to be a proper homage to the zombie apocalypse genre it must remain mysterious.
