I'm not sure Dack. I do know the tech works though as I've enjoyed seeing Cutting Beams blasting enemy cruisers that get too close.

Speaking of Turret Installations, are they any other weapons that can fit on those triple firing turrets besides the Particle Beam line and the Heavy Driver line?

Heavy Emitters also fit in Very Heavy Turrets.

I also discovered that you fit Morrigi Grav Cannons on Very Heavy Turrets.

Now, if only we can chuck a Chakram or a Heavy Cannon in there... :googly:

With other techs it gives you Electronic Warfare Command Section.

Hello,
could you guys help me with Leviathan Construction tech - i cant unlock it.
I have BR, Flagship Command, Turret installations, Antimatter - looks like all key techs to unlock LC, but i still not have access to it. What can i do to get this tech?

you also need heavy ship missles and Heavy combat lasers I believe.

Definitely HCLs, not sure about the heavy missiles, though Morrigi Leviathan LVs carry polaris by default, so probably.

Is it possible any longer to build trade stations in un-inhabited systems? Perhaps at a larger maintenance cost due to being far away from a planetary population for support?

I'm in a game where it'd be really hand...

I believe that trader post are set to the population of the system. The more population there is the better the trade. Hence why building a trade port in an empty system just wouldn't work.

But trade stations could be placed in empty systems in Sots1...I was just wondering if that mechanic was still around. It appears not.
