I'm pretty sure the Peacekeeper is programmed specifically to follow a very strict set of rules. I think a fleet over the maximum size, no matter what it's doing, is going to fall into violation of those rules...

I suppose there might be a tech entitled "Reprogram Superweapon" or maybe "Infect Superweapon" that would let you do that, kinda like the Ultimate Laptop they had for Independence Day. :lol:

Somehow I doubt Stellar Generation Prime used Windows95 very extensively ;)

I was just thinking, since the races live in such different environments (Liir spending their time in water being the most distinct), will there be technology for fighting in these new environments? I'm thinking mostly for the purpose of buffing boarding pods, but it could have large ramifications for planetary conquest as well. Will there be any hand-to-hand combat enhancements in the xeno tree?

looks at shots of NASA training space suits in a swimming pool...actually its not all that much different than you would imagine once you are in a suit ;)

is it just my game or is there not a xeno-tech category available, it shows up on the science stations, but not in the research screen

i have yet to see a xeno-tech, although there was some mention of defeated menaces allowing new research... hence xeno - tech? or possibly the small independent worlds?

Some of these techs are available in political category I think. At least the basic communication ones.
