Upgrading Suul'ka

Do they just get the best weapons when they arrive and that's it?

Or can we actually retorfit them with newer tech later. I noticed one of mine has AP round, which I stopped using, but I cant seem to find any way to actually upgrade his suit.

Is this intended, or still in the works, or am I just being blind? =p

Edit: SotSpedia says some have more room for modules than other, which again leads me to believe they can be modified.

Retrofitting Suul'ka is planned as far as i know. Just other priorities right now.
