Erinys shorts stories in PDF format

Post by MoonWolf » Wed May 30, 2007 2:34 pm

I created a little PDF of the first short story by erinys, can i post the pdf here, or anywhere else? Do i have to show it to erinys first, since it's probably her intelectual property?

Any help is greatly apreciated! :)

It's very kind of you to make a pdf for those who might like to read the whole story-thus-far without having to click through multiple threads! Kerberos and I have had some thoughts on this score ourselves: although the story has more segments yet to come, we thought it would be nice to release a full version of the complete arc at the end.

We will be releasing a pdf which will ultimately compile the complete Cai Rui story with appropriate art illustrations as an update for Born of Blood. Since there will be an "official Kerberos Version" pdf, I would appreciate it if you would post your own pdf with your own name on the file somewhere, so that people know where it comes from--this will help to distinguish between the two versions of the pdf later.

"Moonwolf's pdf" will obviously be somewhat different from the Kerberos pdf in the future, but if you label it correctly there shouldn't be a problem. All you have to do is make sure that Kerberos and I are credited within the text of the Pdf itself, since Cai Rui, his adventures, and the background of the SotS universe belong to Kerberos, as part of the Sword of the Stars IP.

P.S. I would be happy to look at the .pdf to make sure it isn't missing any text, and that all the segments are in the right order. :)

Hi Eriny et all.

I am introducing a new friend to SotS and was hoping i could point him to the SotS fiction to read up on, both for the original and the stories leading up to the BoB release.

Do we have one point of refference listing the storeis in more or less proper chronological order for someone to dive into?

The PDF you have mentioned here would be nice of course, if it does not end up brakign some important IP rules. :)

Thanks in advance!

The current tales in order:

Incident at Avalon

Escape from Avalon Part One

Escape From Avalon, Part Two

Rendezvous at Ke'Vanthu

The Council of Chozanti

There is not yet a single pdf that collects these in order, but when the adventures of Cai Rui are completed we will be putting one together. :)

Other background fiction can be found in the first post or two of the "Races" threads which are stickied in the "Races" forum.

Hope your friend enjoys the material and the game!

Wow, thanks for a quick response, Arinn!

This will be extremely helpful to him and hopefully some others, who are just starting to discover the universe of SotS!
Hell i may re-read them all myself as well. :)

Thanks again!
