Welcome to the newest SotSverse game, GroundPounders! SotS:GP is an old-school, beer and pretzel wargame in the tradition of the classic Panzer General. It will play quick and introduce you to battalion-level ground combat in the SotS universe and is intended for various platforms. Its planned it will be fully multiplayer-capable across platforms. This game will be presented on Kickstarter and an alpha level demo will be released soon. Please look over today's teaser trailer and feel free to ask any questions at all. Awww you guys! Its like you knew I was dying to find out more about your new game recently and delivered! Looking good!

Nice and in-depth strategy with what looks to be a very reasonable odds/modifier system. In other games I always found it silly when you can buff a single basic unit with modifiers until it achieves god-like efficacy.

Hope the wait for the kickstarter video is pleasantly brief (September 9th seems logical)

So If I'm not mistaken, I take it Humans, Hivers, and Tarka will be available for the initial offering?

So we'll be able to launch a game of this to resolve planetary invasions in SotS2 when those get added, right?

Good idea... you have all my support for the UI, it can make or break a game like this. Has anybody at Kerberos played the Advance Wars series ? Especially the one that came out some years back, Days of Ruin I think. It might provide some interesting inspiration for a game like this.

From the teaser, the overall look of the game seems like it's not going to be cartoon-y. Is that decision final ?
