What you mean you want to kill it? If you think it that great to beat up them make around 500 ships in a 16 star game and he shows up rather quickly to tell you to knock it off :P
What you mean 45 destroyers and 10 cruisers armed with ballistic weapondry where killed by a dreadnought with all X-ray lasers?!?!?-- sir your morrigi :( ohhhhh...

There is a mods PotD thread in the mods forum Balti, Mec has said before keep this thread for SotS and mod shots in modding. Not that it isn't cool, I like it, but this isn't the place for it.
N* makes me miss my Commadore 64 and my copies of Starflight I + II :(

"Pounce 'em and trounce 'em"
This Morrigi cruiser, Solforce codename "Jade Cat", is remarkably agile despite its size and fission engines. The Tarka are learning this the hard way.

Multiple plasma cannon turrets complement its beam banks for a punishing one-two punch.

Tarkas' eye view of the devastating firepower, as their destroyer hull disintegrates.

Only because the Tarkas were the ones that cancelled their NAP with me in that game a few turns prior to this :p

Tech 4 shields with amplification. 8 million space creds.

Heavy fusion cannons. 4 Million space creds.

Quark resonator armor. Salvaged (thanxs buggies) and 5 million space creds.

Phasers. 4 million space creds.

Phasers PD. 3 million space creds.

Each cruiser. Near half a million space creds.

Forgetting to replace heavy combat lasers with cutting beams for a few dozen such cruisers. Priceless. Image

Silly monkies we don't need to go through your "frontlines". The priceless class cruiser in bulk.

Is that Sparky in the last pic? The only variant I've ever seen is the VN construct, never the original.

Well, while I'm on here, might as well post some new pics. For a change of pace, playing as a human faction.

Behold the latest retrofit of the Sword of the Stars...

Here again, this time assaulting the Tarka with the help of the Liir

Finally, one of my Heavy Cruisers (BB/War) unleashing its wrath.

And yes, that is FOUR forward firing meson beams. On a cruiser.

I was having a problem with me being low on tech and worlds against some tarka and Zuul. Researched for war and large AP.

No ships got to Close range. Zuul popped in seconds
Tarka, never got farther than the second salvo from my ships.

People underestimate the power of simple KK weapons. Their not flashy but they are very effective. Much like SOts.

Some people loved SINS because of all its bling. And i will admit it is probably my second space RTS 4X.

But My fav. Spacs RTS Stand at Homeworld 2 and Sots. Simply the best gameplay.
