I thought the point was well made that, regardless of where one falls on the line between "a sequel should be more of the same but better!" and "a sequel should not be afraid to try new things!" for business and fanbase reasons, sometimes game developers need to do something completely different (regardless of the business environment) just to keep the creative juices flowing and not get bored with their jobs. Nobody likes being typecast, to the exclusion of everything else.
Zed's TARs (sample):
Fractious Allies -- Hiver vs. Hiver, with allies
Who Let The Bugs Out -- Hiver vs. Tarka and Zuul
Tarka Ascendant -- Tarka vs. Hiver and Zuul

OMG! Much better sound quality, intro, etc...

Also, no Darkest of the Hillside Thickets collaboration on this one? (for the music/sound track)

Here's a GOOD question for Kaiju (which will PROBABLY be answered at release, but whatever...) So, does attacking key points on the map like Panama City allow for the Kaiju a short cut through the Panama Canal, and decrease the time it would say, to attack the east coast of the americas, and/or europe's west coast?
