Autosave Behavior

I just lost about a month progress due to misclick.

After I had a CTD, I started the game again and rushed to load last save - not the autosave.
I guess, autosave was immediately overwritten.

Bye-bye, Drones. Haven't seen you yet, but I already love you.
Bye-bye PD Array. Bad, PD Array! Bad!*

*there seem to be a bug with it that leads to CTD

its only over written if you were going into or coming out of combat

I dont know what happened then.

I loaded the game from regular slot. Instaquit, no saving. Loaded autosave. No luck, I'm at the base with no T4 yet.

sorry it works exactly like I said...did you leave out saying that a month transitioned the first time you reloaded the save?

I hear you. Just trying to understand what happened.
And no, it was just some mid-month state, kaiju repairing, etc.

So, I spent some time with it just now:
"Exit now" saves the game to autosave slot instead of just quitting.
I'm going to post it to Tech Support.

Same thing happened to me right after attacking my first city with tier 4 (I used Drones). lost about a month progress.
